Kohler Regional Awards

This year Kohler is giving regional awards for Sales Person of the Year and The Admiral Byrd Award for customer service.   

We are pleased to announce Eric Ericksen and Jon Aiken won the awards for our region! 

Sales Person of the Year:  Eric Ericksen  |  Sales Growth: 22.6%

Eric continues to build the PES OEM business for gas and diesel by leaving no stone unturned. His tenacious pursuit of OEM business has increased the number of customers and Kohler engine placement. Eric has a unique ability to see how Kohler products can fit an application and displace the competition. From the initial meeting, sample engines, and application reviews, Eric is there every step of the way holding the customer’s hand throughout the process. Eric keeps in constant contact with all his customers and knows what new applications are on the drawing board. His relationships and reputation allow him to get the first crack at placing a Kohler on new applications.

Eric’s performance is both inspiring and award-worthy.


 Admiral Byrd Award: Jon Aiken

Jon “Jay” Aiken has delivered Kohler customers outstanding service for many years. This past year Jon has stepped up his game to a new level as he fully embraced being the inside sales support resource for OEMs and Key accounts. Jon facilitates over $6MM in Kohler business with a yo-man like effort. Jon’s ability to quickly solve problems under stressful timelines enables PES to exceed customer expectations and increase brand loyalty and brand preference for Kohler engines. From order placement, logistics, and special requests, Jon honors his commitments. Occasionally we have a misstep in the process that leaves a customer stressed and unhappy, and Jon is masterful at rectifying issues in a way that solves the problem and instills confidence with the customer that PES has their best interest at heart. When Jon needs help taking care of a customer, he will come to upper management with options, relevant background information, and a recommendation that allows a quick decision process. Jon is a long time PES employee that interacts with customers with empathy and urgency. Admiral Byrd said, ” Progress grows out of motion.”, and Jon is always in motion trying to figure out a better way to take care of the customer.
